• Intensive safety training (PPE, fire hazards, fumes, electrical safety).

• Workshop setup & organization.

• Introduction to welding processes (overview).

• Focus on Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick).

• Equipment setup & operation (power source, cables, electrode holder).

• Selecting electrodes.

• Striking & maintaining an arc.

• Running beads on flat plate (padding).

• Basic joint types (butt, lap, fillet).

• Cleaning welds.

(SMAW Proficiency & Introduction to GMAW):

• Proficiency in SMAW in various positions (flat, horizontal).

• Welding different joint configurations with SMAW.

• Weld inspection basics (visual).

• Introduction to Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW / MIG).

• GMAW equipment setup & operation (wire feeder, gas).

• Basic GMAW techniques on mild steel (flat position).

• Introduction to metal cutting & preparation (grinding, oxy-fuel cutting basics if available).

• Reading basic welding symbols & blueprints.

• Practical: Complete various weld joint projects using SMAW and basic GMAW.

(Multi-Process Skills & Fabrication Basics):

• Proficiency in SMAW & GMAW in multiple positions (vertical, overhead basics).

• Introduction to Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW / TIG) basics (setup, technique on mild steel/aluminum if possible).

• Advanced blueprint reading.

• Metal fabrication basics (measuring, layout, cutting, fitting components).

• Understanding weld defects & quality control.

• Potentially introduction to pipe welding basics or specific fabrication projects.

• Continued emphasis on safety & workshop practices.

• Project: Fabricate a simple project following blueprints, using multiple welding processes.
